Who am I ?

Brigitte Wezel – Coaching & Yoga Therapy

I support adults experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, exhaustion, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. I am a professional coach, oncology coach, and yoga therapist, with particular expertise in stress management, anxiety disorders,  menopause and after-illness coaching.

My work is based on an integrative approach that combines coaching and yoga therapy to address the whole person—mental, emotional, physical, energetic, and existential dimensions, including the search for meaning. This synergy provides effective support during periods of transition, uncertainty, or personal transformation.

My practice draws on evidence-informed approaches, including professional coaching, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and therapeutic yoga movements and postures. These methods are used to help regulate the nervous system, strengthen personal resources, and build resilience.

Sessions combine accessible body-based practices—such as breathwork, adapted movement, guided relaxation, visualization, and mindfulness—with deeper reflective work exploring values, beliefs, behavioural patterns, and the influences that shape the way we think, feel, and act.

The aim is to help you restore inner balance, develop self-regulation skills, better understand your body’s signals, reconnect with your inner resources, and acquire practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life to enhance stability, autonomy, and overall well-being.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Chronic stress
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Menopause
  • Supporting people affected by cancer or other chronic illnesses
  • Exhaustion and post-burnout recovery
  • Personal and professional life transitions

Alongside my clinical practice, I serve as Vice-President of two non-profit organizations:

  • BAYT – Belgian Association of Yoga Therapists
  • Yoga Santé, an organization dedicated to promoting accessible, secular, and adapted yoga within community health centres.

I am also the author of the illustrated book Planet Cancer, which offers 101 practical ideas to help people navigate cancer, as well as any period of vulnerability or personal transformation.
